Intro, About the League

So you finished story on both sides and did pretty much everything you could do in the game, now you're done, right? Not much else to do besides breeding, competitive battling and farming, correct? Wrong! Welcome to the Simply Bred Pokémon League, as a member of our team you can now join this ongoing team event and become the true champion, the very best, a Pokémon Master!

Has been decided that our Pokémon League should stick to basics, Pokémon-Anime basics. Where you had to defeat each Gym Leader in a specific region in order to have access to the Pokémon League and battle trainers that also had defeated all Gym Leaders (no Elite 4 at this point).

The Pokémon League Tournament will be scheduled with some antecedence and the date will be listed at our event calendar, which you can view here. Each region will have its own tournament, the location will be the Pokémon League sites (Hoenn's in Ever Grande City, and Kanto's at Indigo Plateau).
In order to have access to the Pokémon League you'll need all the usual in-game badges (obviously) plus the custom badges listed below.

Gym Leaders can also participate, but obviously not in the region they are Gym Leaders.
  • The 4 Pokémon Gyms listed here are currently accepting challenges, the others still under construction were moved to this page.

Details, Guidelines, and more...

1. IMPORTANT: Has been defined that for this competition (the tournament and the Gym challenges) no one is allowed to use bred Pokémon. All Pokémon (trainers' and Gym leaders') must be OT (you must have captured it), no hatched Pokémon will be accepted, therefore, no Pokémon should have Egg moves. For that purpose a "judge" must be spectating the battle, but before the challenge begins each participant must submit as whisper their team so that the judge can analyze and clear both teams for battle.

IMPORTANT 2: Team builds can include at most 1 pokémon from the Uber category, 1 from the OU category, 1 from the UU and 3 from NU. At most, means that you are allowed to use Pokémon from lower tiers. If the battle judge misses something, like a Pokémon bred with a egg move, and battles moves on, whoever has violated the rule can still be disqualified, with presentation of an evidence (proof) by the opponent or judge.

Current available battle judges: CommanderBlue

2. There's no specific order of Gyms, trainers can battle any Gym, at any sequence, and he/ she can go from Kanto to Hoenn (and vice versa). Some Gyms might be at specific points that will require you to have made some progress at the game, as example, 1 Gym can be at the top of a Waterfall, so you'll need the Waterfall move and a specific badge (regular in-game badge) to make it work. Another Gym can be at Hoenn's desert, so you'll need that special goggle to get there.

3. All other standard PokéMMO Tournament rules should be followed. Gym leaders will use a mono type Pokémon team, based on the Gym's theme, which also will follow the team build specifications (check item 1/ IMPORTANT 2), but with one main difference, Gym Leaders are allowed to use same species (as example, means that a Ghost type Gym Leader can have Gengar and Haunter in the same team).

4. Each trainer can challenge a Gym once per day. So if there are (as example) 4 Gyms, you can battle each one once every day. If you lost the challenge, you can battle the Gym Leader again tomorrow, if you won, we'll update the scoreboard with the new badge you got. You'll also get some money (Poké-Yen, around 10~20K) and a TM when you win the Gym challenge.

5. When a trainer have successfully defeated all leaders they will battle the other trainers that have won all badges as well, as listed at the Intro, in the Tournament.

6. After the end of the Pokémon League Tournament the participants will NOT lose the badges, but he will have to battle any new Gyms that opened and he hasn't defeated yet. That might change once we have a Elite 4 format. The winner of the Simply Bred Pokémon League will be forever remembered and will have his place of honor in our Hall Of Fame. The Pokémon Champion will also get a money prize (Poké-Yen).
